The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Silvestre Castilho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, LA COSA NOSTRA's Evandro Azeredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Camaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aristides Camaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Portugal in the 17th minute of the match. Aristides Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Azeredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Hinojar booed when LA COSA NOSTRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Castilho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Azeredo in the 21st minute of play forced Hinojar's goalkeeper Aristides Camaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Adriano Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aristides Camaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute Afonso Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hinojar's Ginés Hernandez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aristides Mascarenhas, made in the 30th minute of the game. Aristides Camaño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Portugal in the 31st minute of play. Hinojar's Aristides Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Azeredo in the 37th minute of play. Aristides Camaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Gama in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Adriano Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Aristides Camaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Azeredo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Evandro Azeredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Azeredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Camaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Camaño acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adérito Castro. Aristides Camaño was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Portugal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. When Artemio Casas fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hinojar's protests and gave Artemio Casas a yellow card for diving instead. LA COSA NOSTRA's Jordão Esparteiro was substituted for Silvestre Castilho. In the 64th match minute, Hinojar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Casas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Portugal got free with Aristides Camaño in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 minutes, Afonso Portugal made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Hinojar's Aristides Camaño tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jordão Esparteiro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Adriano Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aristides Camaño, 0-9. Hinojar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Alcides Gama scored to the left of an out of position Aristides Camaño, making the score, 0-10. Evandro Azeredo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Camaño. Aristides Camaño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. With a little luck, Hinojar's Aristides Camaño got control of the ball when Evandro Azeredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. LA COSA NOSTRA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
