Aristides Camaño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Dominguez in the 2nd minute of play. Zoilo Barrientos's late challenge caught a Atlético Ourense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zoilo Barrientos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Zoilo Barrientos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Diego Garate put in a rough tackle. After 7 played minutes Hinojar got a freekick which was hit by Diego Garate. It was beautiful to see Atlético Ourense's Lucio Navas in action when he in the 9th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Huly Barberá took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aristides Camaño to make any attempt to save it. Atlético Ourense's attentive Alfredo Cameno managed to snatch the ball when Asdrubal Sobrado made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Felipo Aguilar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Atlético Ourense's Aristides Camaño threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Balesio Batuecas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 28 minutes into the game, Huly Barberá was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Ourense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hinojar the free kick. A collision led to Atlético Ourense getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Huly Barberá hit a great ball. Cugat Dellasierra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Zoilo Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ciro Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, Atlético Ourense's Anastasio Dominguez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Atlético Ourense getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ismael Lermo hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Anastasio Dominguez made the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zoilo Barrientos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Camaño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Hinojar got a freekick which was hit by Doroteo Marquez. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alfredo Cameno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Ourense's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Cameno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Camaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Fortun Quevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Camaño was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Aristides Camaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huly Barberá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anastasio Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
