After 7 played minutes São Francisco FC86 got a freekick which was hit by João Monteiro. In the 8th minute of the match Hermínio Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Esteves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 11 minutes of play, ZEZOM TEAM's António Borges made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herberto Braga in the 19th minute of play. Rafael Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Herberto Braga made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Lage. ZEZOM TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 25 minutes, Fábio Moutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Francisco FC86 and the ZEZOM TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, São Francisco FC86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Borges in the 26th minute of play forced São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Rafael Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Monteiro's late challenge caught a ZEZOM TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, São Francisco FC86's João Monteiro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rafael Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. ZEZOM TEAM's Júlio Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Moutinho in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes ZEZOM TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Sálvio Cruz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Valente made a kick off. Júlio Lage was a little too slow when Manuel Valente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 56th minute, Sandro Caldas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th of the match, Fábio Moutinho tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Júlio Lage got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 58th minute, Miguel Esparteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, São Francisco FC86's goal looked a bit too open when António Borges came free, but Rafael Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Furtado hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Gustavo Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Esteves. São Francisco FC86's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Júlio Lage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Moutinho in the 84th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in São Francisco FC86 reached it. ZEZOM TEAM's Júlio Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Moutinho in the 93rd minute of play. São Francisco FC86's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
