The referee ignored ZEZOM TEAM's protests and gave Laureano Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. ZEZOM TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave April 25 SC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reginaldo Seixas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quilo Bartumeu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's Laurgain Lama sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Espinosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Laureano Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reginaldo Seixas made a kick off. Severiano Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Griego in the 92nd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ZEZOM TEAM were victorious despite being under pressure from April 25 SC for much of the match.
