In the 6th match minute, FC CHIVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xesus Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. Claudemiro Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rai Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Rai Villalcazar managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Altamora FC's Claudemiro Coelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claudemiro Coelho struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rai Villalcazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altamora FC. Medardo Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Norberto Vilanova's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rai Villalcazar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sagrario Diez scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Pádua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's goalkeeper Rai Villalcazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Vilanova. Altamora FC's Vítor Pádua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sagrario Diez in the 33rd minute of play. When António Colaço fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altamora FC's protests and gave António Colaço a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's António Colaço got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Sagrario Diez came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FC CHIVA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sagrario Diez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Vuelta in the 41st minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Vítor Pádua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Carlos Solera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CHIVA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altamora FC the free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Jonas Vuelta made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudemiro Coelho in the 53rd minute of play forced FC CHIVA's goalkeeper Rai Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Norberto Vilanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rai Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudemiro Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC CHIVA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Altamora FC side.
