When Eusébio Sacadura came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ADCR Loreto United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Sacadura couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Alcino Pádua got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the ADCR Loreto United FC defense, Bitxintxo Zamora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Guarda. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Guarda should have stopped the shot.
