Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Erosa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th match minute, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albérico Curado to maneuver through the defense. When Martín Villar came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hispania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martín Villar couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, one of VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alcides Quinaz had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Rigoberto Erosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alcides Quinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Erosa in the 12th minute of the match. Albérico Curado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Martín Villar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alcides Quinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarbas Malafaia charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Malafaia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alcides Quinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, João Ramires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ivan Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Ximun Zapater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alcides Quinaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martín Villar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jordão Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Hispania's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Ramires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 44 minutes of play, Hispania's Martín Villar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alcides Quinaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Martín Villar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hispania's Lordi Jimenez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alcides Quinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Villar, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes, Toni Huarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hispania and the VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Hispania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Huarte to maneuver through the defense. Antero Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Alcides Quinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Villar in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Belchior Pegado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ximun Zapater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alcides Quinaz was a little too slow when Ximun Zapater got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 89th minute, Jordão Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
