Franco Manrique kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Camacho came free, but Gaztea Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Asensio Bergada. Boca Juniors's Gaztea Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Camacho in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldaír Veiga in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaztea Salan saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Aldaír Veiga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Boca Juniors's Gaztea Salan. Gaztea Salan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaztea Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldaír Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The MZ Fénix fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when MZ Fénix's Aldaír Veiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaztea Salan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldaír Veiga's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Fabiano Camacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaztea Salan came out of the goal and Fabiano Camacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldaír Veiga in the 38th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Gaztea Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Vasconcelos. Franco Manrique kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldaír Veiga in the 45th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Gaztea Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Aldaír Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaztea Salan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Boca Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MZ Fénix were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Camacho to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Camacho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaztea Salan having to make a save. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xorxe Verges didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fabiano Camacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Fabiano Camacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaztea Salan. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabiano Camacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Alexandrino Palha got a free kick in the 65th minute. Aldaír Veiga in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaztea Salan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 70 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Gaztea Salan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldaír Veiga. Gau Huguet kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fabiano Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaztea Salan having to interfere. Aldaír Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaztea Salan having to make a save. A hard shot 76 in the game by Aldaír Veiga from a close distance when the talented Gaztea Salan managed to make a qualified save. Boca Juniors's players were relieved. 78 minutes into the game, Asensio Bergada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Martinho Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Asensio Bergada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Caneira charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Caneira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldaír Veiga's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldaír Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. Aldaír Veiga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Fabio Rallo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martinho Nunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Camacho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaztea Salan. That made the score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play. MZ Fénix's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
