The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Los once leones Ourense's Elvis Naranjo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Los once leones Ourense from getting a goal against them. If Esdras Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Leal came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Guillen Salazar. But to his dismay, Guillen Salazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Guillen Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Nicolau Pinhal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes of play, Los once leones Ourense's Guillen Salazar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Márcio Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Sílvio Bento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los once leones Ourense's Elvis Naranjo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Los once leones Ourense from getting a goal against them. Márcio Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillen Salazar in the 31st minute of play. Elvis Naranjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Coutinho in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elvis Naranjo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ivo Mendonça hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Bento came free, but Elvis Naranjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elvis Naranjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvis Naranjo was a little too slow when Ivo Mendonça got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beltran Rajoi to make the kick off. Lucas Corte-Real hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nicolau Tristão hit a great ball. Márcio Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esdras Santos went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lucas Corte-Real hit a great ball. With a little luck, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Márcio Leal got control of the ball when Guillen Salazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elvis Naranjo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. João Lameiras hit a great ball. Márcio Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beltran Rajoi in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Sixto Mera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Beltran Rajoi came free, but Márcio Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvis Naranjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Mendonça in the 88th minute of the match. Guillen Salazar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nicolau Pinhal hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Los once leones Ourense's Sixto Mera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sixto Mera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los once leones Ourense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sixto Mera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sixto Mera hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Nicolau Pinhal might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elvis Naranjo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolau Pinhal ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los once leones Ourense had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
