Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorato Calado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Santiago Viana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Octávio Moita came out and tried to block the shot, but Santiago Viana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Egídio Paixão notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pau Nas Canelas's Valter Leme. Valter Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octávio Moita didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pau Nas Canelas's Luís Souto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Trindade in the 33rd minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Valter Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Luís Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octávio Moita was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Souto in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octávio Moita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Cerqueira to maneuver through the defense. Octávio Moita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcino Guterres in the 42nd minute of play. Hélder Trindade hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Pau Nas Canelas's Luís Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Guterres kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Viana was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Filipe Avelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Alexandrino Bessa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pau Nas Canelas's Valter Leme didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Paixão in the 54th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Valter Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Leme came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Egídio Paixão. But to his dismay, Egídio Paixão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Hugo Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Manuel Souto fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pau Nas Canelas's protests and gave Manuel Souto a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Souto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. SC Braga's Celso Belo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Alexandrino Bessa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valter Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Honorato Calado hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Mário Maltez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octávio Moita having to make a save. 90 minutes into the game, Pau Nas Canelas's Manuel Souto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octávio Moita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Pau Nas Canelas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
