Micael Torcato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Cabrera in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Girona FC's Florinio Mala got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes, GD Almargense's Lázaro Seabra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toni Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GD Almargense reached it. In the 17th minute, Luís Noronha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31st minute Luís Noronha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Seabra hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Rafael Carmo scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toni Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in GD Almargense's zone, Anselmo Cabrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Micael Torcato came out of the goal and Anselmo Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Micael Torcato was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Belisario Llorente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Belisario Llorente really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The Girona FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GD Almargense were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Belisario Llorente made the kick off in the second half. Belisario Llorente took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Micael Torcato. Micael Torcato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The referee showed Roberto Darroja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
