The supporters of FC DNV Bratiskava booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Ciuche didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Ábel came free, but Vadim Macovei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Fratea in the 9th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Miroslav Forman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Tudor Fratea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslav Forman. FC DNV Bratiskava's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Fratea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigore Ciuche during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Grigore Ciuche got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Marek Kríž came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC DNV Bratiskava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Kríž couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Florin Vrednic had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislav Zilka during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Ladislav Zilka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Halipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Miroslav Forman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Fratea in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Forman saved FC DNV Bratiskava from getting behind. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tudor Fratea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC DNV Bratiskava's Miroslav Forman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tudor Fratea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Dorel Izmanã got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavol Repa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, FC DNV Bratiskava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Repa to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Fratea came free, but Miroslav Forman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Ciuche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Forman having to interfere. When Dušan Jankech fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC DNV Bratiskava's protests and gave Dušan Jankech a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Dušan Jankech got a free kick in the 69th minute. Tudor Fratea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Miroslav Forman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dorel Izmanã hit a great ball. FC DNV Bratiskava's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Grigore Josan scored to the left of an out of position Miroslav Forman, making the score, 0-2. Marian Bâtcã charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Bâtcã the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Truseni's Vadim Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Ábel in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's Pavol Repa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vadim Macovei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Fratea in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Forman saved FC DNV Bratiskava from getting behind. Miroslav Forman made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tudor Fratea sent off a good shot on target. Eduard Halipa struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Miroslav Forman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Truseni. After 94 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Ladislav Zilka. With his leg Miroslav Forman managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when FC Truseni's Tudor Fratea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The FC DNV Bratiskava fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Truseni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
