A collision led to Mjöllnir getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Didier Bonenfant hit a great ball. Marc Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Hoogstrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Mjöllnir got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Schmidlin. After 12 played minutes, De Kwakel FC's Aad Compaan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marc Brand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Kwakel FC reached it. Marc Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Bruin in the 15th minute of play. Quentin Schmidlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jouke van Amersfoort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's goal looked a bit too open when Jouke van Amersfoort came free, but Marc Brand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aad Compaan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Kwakel FC's protests and gave Aad Compaan a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes De Kwakel FC got a freekick which was hit by Aad Compaan. 37 minutes into the match, De Kwakel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Bonenfant came free, but Jan Hendrik Oost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes De Kwakel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralf Scenna who took care of the corner kick. Jan Hendrik Oost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didier Bonenfant in the 43rd minute of play. Jan Hendrik Oost made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ralf Scenna sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronald Bruin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ray Zurbuchen charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ray Zurbuchen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ray Zurbuchen kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ignatius Küttel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Hendrik Oost having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Allard Heije was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Kwakel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mjöllnir the free kick. A collision led to De Kwakel FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. After a rather tough play, De Kwakel FC's Aad Compaan got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jouke van Amersfoort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Teo Hoogstrate managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Kwakel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Hoogstrate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Brand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes, Jacquin Bühlmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mjöllnir and the De Kwakel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacquin Bühlmann hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jan Hendrik Oost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Bonenfant in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Scenna in the 91st minute of play forced De Kwakel FC's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Oost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Scenna charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralf Scenna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mjöllnir's Ralf Scenna got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the De Kwakel FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
