Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yaqub Aydinov took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Yaqub Aydinov came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Şamaxı Bankirlər fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaqub Aydinov couldn't finish the play. Loğman Hacibabayev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Yaqub Aydinov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miloš Sirnik. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. If Aqil Bağiyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Şahin Bäylärov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Şamaxı Bankirlər fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 31 played minutes Gremio FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon Jankovič. 33 minutes into the game, Yaqub Aydinov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miloš Sirnik. Yaqub Aydinov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Loğman Hacibabayev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miloš Sirnik came out and tried to block the shot, but Loğman Hacibabayev slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. After 42 played minutes Gremio FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerko Bavdek. The crowd rose to their feet as Loğman Hacibabayev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miloš Sirnik. That made the score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ljudevit Kogoj made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loğman Hacibabayev in the 54th minute of play forced Gremio FC's goalkeeper Miloš Sirnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Loğman Hacibabayev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miloš Sirnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miloš Sirnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loğman Hacibabayev in the 59th minute of the match. Miloš Sirnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaqub Aydinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Loğman Hacibabayev made a precise shot to the right of Miloš Sirnik. Gremio FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loğman Hacibabayev in the 79th minute of play forced Gremio FC's goalkeeper Miloš Sirnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Yaqub Aydinov made a precise shot to the right of Miloš Sirnik. Gremio FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. If Ljudevit Kogoj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miloš Sirnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loğman Hacibabayev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loğman Hacibabayev in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miloš Sirnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the game, Bor Fluher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Şamaxı Bankirlər the free kick. Bor Fluher kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Yaqub Aydinov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaqub Aydinov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miloš Sirnik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Gremio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loğman Hacibabayev came free, but Miloš Sirnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Ljudevit Kogoj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
