Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Sammy Kempenaers made the kick off and thus started the match. Roger Hoolemans charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Hoolemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sammy Kempenaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Sammy Kempenaers took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rein Barels to make any attempt to save it. After taking down the ball on Portus Ganda's corner Danny Spoelberchs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rein Barels quite easily take care of the ball. After 30 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Van Bouschot. De Kwakel FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sammy Kempenaers 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. In the 46th minute Jan Oosterhof clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 46 minutes of play Portus Ganda's Roger Hoolemans was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 47 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Roger Hoolemans. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christiaan Mans to make the kick off. Pierre Van Leemputte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rein Barels having to interfere.
