Gregor Roos's late challenge caught a Blue avalanche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregor Roos helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Mjöllnir got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Roos. A hard shot 11 in the game by Penko Voykov from a close distance when the talented Marc Brand managed to make a qualified save. Mjöllnir's players were relieved. Metodi Kashov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blue avalanche fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mjöllnir a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ralf Scenna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blue avalanche's Stanyo Adúrski. 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Bonenfant came free, but Stanyo Adúrski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Blue avalanche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostadin Lalov to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Gregor Roos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's goal looked a bit too open when Penko Voykov came free, but Marc Brand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's Didier Bonenfant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanyo Adúrski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregor Roos in the 23rd minute of play forced Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Stanyo Adúrski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Didier Bonenfant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Kliment Penushliev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue avalanche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mjöllnir the free kick. Mjöllnir made a substitution. Flavian Gaertner replaced Ralf Scenna. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Blue avalanche:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mjöllnir:s goal. Stanyo Adúrski went to the wrong direction when Didier Bonenfant was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Mjöllnir booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asparuh Tarashoev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Mjöllnir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Roos to maneuver through the defense. Blue avalanche's Kalin Kitev shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marc Brand but with some difficulty. Stanyo Adúrski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavian Gaertner in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Didier Bonenfant to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Flavian Gaertner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Stanyo Adúrski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Mjöllnir's Flavian Gaertner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Stanyo Adúrski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavian Gaertner in the 66th minute. Didier Bonenfant received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanyo Adúrski came out and tried to block the shot, but Didier Bonenfant slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Stanyo Adúrski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Didier Bonenfant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stanyo Adúrski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Asparuh Tarashoev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue avalanche and the Mjöllnir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Blue avalanche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asparuh Tarashoev to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Blue avalanche booed when Mjöllnir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatius Küttel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanyo Adúrski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Bonenfant in the 86th minute of the match. If Flavian Gaertner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Gregor Roos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mjöllnir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Roos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mjöllnir players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
