After 2 played minutes Szolnoki MÁV got a freekick which was hit by Csanád Újvári. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gusztáv Balla hit a great ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Bart Koekkoek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nadzieja Speed Elblag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart Koekkoek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Nadzieja Speed Elblag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stef Graaff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milán Kocsis hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Szolnoki MÁV defense, Pim van Gaal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zakariás Bíró. The Szolnoki MÁV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zakariás Bíró should have stopped the shot. György Kaszás might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teun Gierman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 23 minutes of play, Szolnoki MÁV's György Kaszás made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teun Gierman was left in no man's land by his defense there! György Kaszás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teun Gierman having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for András Kis to strike the kick off in the second half. András Kis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Teun Gierman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Nadzieja Speed Elblag booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Kaszás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zakariás Bíró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zakariás Bíró came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Pim van Gaal. But to his dismay, Pim van Gaal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. András Kis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Teun Gierman made a huge save. In the 76th minute Szolnoki MÁV were awarded a corner. Csanád Újvári went to the cornerflag to take it. Nick van der Aa thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Teun Gierman, a very annoying self made goal in the 76th minute which led to 3-2. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Nadzieja Speed Elblag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Heuving didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Bart Koekkoek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zakariás Bíró showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
