Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basiel Van de Weijer started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Basiel Van de Weijer came free, but Melvin Poonoly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Triesenberg booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. FC Triesenberg were furious when Noah Büchel was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After recieving a nice pass, Esquirla FC's Laurens Van Aken tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stjepan Hirsch's late challenge caught a Esquirla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stjepan Hirsch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, FC Triesenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stjepan Hirsch to maneuver through the defense. FC Triesenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Thöny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Thöny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, FC Triesenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Thöny to maneuver through the defense. If Alfons van Haghten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
