Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seppe den Pelsmaeker started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Esquirla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basiel Van de Weijer to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, All Stars Gent's Erwin-Alexander Peters shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimitri Huijbreghts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in All Stars Gent reached it. After 5 minutes, Seppe den Pelsmaeker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Stars Gent and the Esquirla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. All Stars Gent's Jorn Degraef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorn Degraef was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jorn Degraef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ive Custermans's late challenge caught a Esquirla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ive Custermans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ive Custermans to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 18th minute of play forced All Stars Gent's goalkeeper Jorn Degraef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Dewinter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All Stars Gent's Jorn Degraef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Ive Custermans. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seppe den Pelsmaeker in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitri Huijbreghts saved Esquirla FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Dewinter in the 57th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Dimitri Huijbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Henry Dewinter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 84 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Silvain Kerkhofs. The audience was convinced that Silvain Kerkhofs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitri Huijbreghts was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Simon Wery got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basiel Van de Weijer during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basiel Van de Weijer kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin-Alexander Peters in the 96th minute of play. The Esquirla FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
