The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Geale van den Brink put in a rough tackle. In the 28th minute, one of S.C. Potentia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.C. Potentia. S.C. Potentia:s Naci Ünüvar showed great skill when he stopped Kornél Varga:s penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Job Bot made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Hummel to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Keserű made an important save on a dangerous shot by Job Bot in the 60th minute. Ferdi Apotheker kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Ferdi Apotheker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.
