Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Verwachting's Henny Jans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Marichal in the 3rd minute of play. Ferry van Zalingen took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Iven. Lucas Iven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ralph Peeters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Iven having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Ralph Peeters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verwachting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's goal looked a bit too open when Joop Heinen came free, but Lucas Iven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verwachting made a substitution. Gerrit Baker replaced Gerjan Das. A collision led to Winksele 2016 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ludwig Van de Loock hit a great ball. Jorre Sproten came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henny Jans could save by the left post. Henny Jans made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jorre Sproten sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute of the game Ludwig Van de Loock made a throw-in which Ryan Bruyninckx played forward. Henny Jans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryan Bruyninckx in the 34th minute. Lucas Iven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Heinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winksele 2016's Lucas Iven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferry van Zalingen in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorre Sproten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferry van Zalingen kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Winksele 2016's Lucas Iven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, Verwachting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joop Heinen to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's Ryan Bruyninckx broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lucas Iven came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Ferry van Zalingen. But to his dismay, Ferry van Zalingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Henny Jans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorre Sproten in the 69th minute of the match. Martin Marichal lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Martin Marichal hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Winksele 2016's zone, Ralph Peeters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Iven came out of the goal and Ralph Peeters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Winksele 2016's Lucas Iven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Winksele 2016 from getting a goal against them. If Karel-Jan Gheysen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Iven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Peeters in the 88th minute of play. Henny Jans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel-Jan Gheysen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Verwachting eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
