Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Franz-Josef Anthamatten kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Guerreiro in the 8th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Felix Teunissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Handi Harri scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Sternschnuppe getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sven-John Kuntz hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Godfried Steelman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Sternschnuppe's Felix Ott didn't even have to move. Felix Teunissen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anto Gren in the 21st minute. Lorenzo Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Teunissen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerd Hirsch in the 24th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Felix Teunissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Bastiaan Rekers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Ott skillfully saved the ball. Felix Teunissen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerd Hirsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. NFC Eagles 22's Felix Teunissen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olcay Maierhans in the 32nd minute of play. Felix Ott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Handi Harri in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Handi Harri to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Gerd Hirsch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Teunissen, 1-1. After 39 minutes of play, NFC Eagles 22's Ronny Colen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Ott was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronny Colen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Ronny Colen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Felix Teunissen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Johannes Oevermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gerd Hirsch made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Steelman during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Sternschnuppe booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Steelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Teunissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Maierhans in the 60th minute of play. Felix Teunissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anto Gren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Handi Harri's late challenge caught a FC Sternschnuppe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Handi Harri helped the player get up and apologised. If Ronny Colen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronny Colen might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Ott. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Colen ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Sternschnuppe's Felix Ott got control of the ball when Ronny Colen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronny Colens short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Felix Ott to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Teunissen came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sternschnuppe's Olcay Maierhans. But to his dismay, Olcay Maierhans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Tim Waldijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Gerd Hirsch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Sternschnuppe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Felix Ott made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Handi Harri sent off a good shot on target. NFC Eagles 22's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
