In the 4th minute Lukáš Lukáč shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Artemev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of UFC Pivnica booed when ФК КрасноДАР was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedor Belokurov didn't get a good kick on the ball. ФК КрасноДАР's Vitaliy Artemev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Bulej in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of UFC Pivnica booed when ФК КрасноДАР was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuil Stolypin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Bačovčin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Simon Zeman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Pivnica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК КрасноДАР the free kick. Simon Zeman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Michal Bačovčin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Pivnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Bačovčin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, ФК КрасноДАР's Oleg Gorbenko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. UFC Pivnica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Oleg Gorbenko scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Žitný, making the score, 2-0. After 38 played minutes UFC Pivnica got a freekick which was hit by Lukáš Lukáč. Vitaliy Artemev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukáš Lukáč, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Michal Bačovčin managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Pivnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Bačovčin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitaliy Artemev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukáš Lukáč received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vitaliy Artemev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislav Bulej might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitaliy Artemev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislav Bulej ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Eremin was the one to do the kick off. Ladislav Bulej scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitaliy Artemev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michal Bačovčin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitaliy Artemev having to make a save. Hugo Žitný showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuriy Yudin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukáš Lukáč in the 61st minute of play forced ФК КрасноДАР's goalkeeper Vitaliy Artemev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Michal Bačovčin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislav Bulej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitaliy Artemev having to interfere. Lukáš Lukáč's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitaliy Artemev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, ФК КрасноДАР's Konstantin Arlazorov made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Žitný was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the game, Michal Bačovčin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Vitaliy Artemev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Ladislav Bulej had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitaliy Artemev. ФК КрасноДАР's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislav Bulej was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Vitaliy Artemev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Bačovčin in the 81st minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
