FC Triesen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Artur Van De Wijngaert scored to the left of an out of position Felix Ott, making the score, 1-1. Lieven Balckmans hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Mathieu-Maxim Van Eynde sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Ott skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Andy Bjorg sped through Limburg United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robbie Van Beylen. In the 32ndth minute of the game Andy Bjorg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limburg United's Robbie Van Beylen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Triesen booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lieven Balckmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Schleith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Robbie Van Beylen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mark Heijligem hit a great ball. Gilliam Roelandts scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lieven Balckmans hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Guerreiro missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 47 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Robbie Van Beylen right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sandro Schleith had several of the Limburg United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Robbie Van Beylen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Andy Bjorg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Sandro Schleith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Van Beylen came out of the goal and Sandro Schleith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilliam Roelandts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Diederik Huijberechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Bjorg took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robbie Van Beylen. Robbie Van Beylen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. FC Triesen's Felix Ott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilliam Roelandts in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Artur Van De Wijngaert. After a defensive mix-up in FC Triesen's zone, Gilliam Roelandts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Ott came out of the goal and Gilliam Roelandts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Ott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilliam Roelandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of FC Triesen booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Van De Wijngaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, FC Triesen's goal looked a bit too open when Gilliam Roelandts came free, but Felix Ott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Triesen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Limburg United.
