Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bas Coekelbergh kicked off to start the match. If Wilco Owusu Abeyie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Coekelbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Andriessen during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Andriessen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jan-Joost Smeekes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantijn Rix in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Seagulls's Roger Popken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanick Bruyninckx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Under Construct's zone, Wilco Owusu Abeyie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanick Bruyninckx came out of the goal and Wilco Owusu Abeyie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was a well-played corner which Roger Popken managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Constantijn Putman took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jan-Joost Smeekes to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute of the match, Constantijn Rix got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan-Joost Smeekes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Roger Popken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Bruyninckx having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Wilco Owusu Abeyie notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Under Construct's Yanick Bruyninckx. Yanick Bruyninckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Under Construct's Matias Renotte broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jan-Joost Smeekes was a little too slow when Bas Coekelbergh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Constantijn Putman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas Coekelbergh in the 41st minute of play. Bas Coekelbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Harmens kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Bas Coekelbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the game, Kurt Schröer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yanick Bruyninckx. Kurt Schröer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Jan-Joost Smeekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Coekelbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Yanick Bruyninckx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roger Popken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 71 minute of play. In the 79th play minute Carsten Klaasens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yanick Bruyninckx. 2-5. In the 91st minute, Meindert Popping hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantijn Rix took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. 96 minutes into the game, Meindert Popping recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yanick Bruyninckx. Meindert Popping showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-7. Seagulls's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
