Maxmilian Groh might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Joost Smeekes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxmilian Groh ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerald Langenbach hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Maxmilian Groh struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Košíře Praha. Petr Zelinger hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Carsten Klaasens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaroslav Kulich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tobias Čepela charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Čepela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FK Košíře Praha getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tobias Čepela hit a great ball. FK Košíře Praha's Jaroslav Kulich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FK Košíře Praha from getting a goal against them. Tomáš Trávníček scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Martin Andriessen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaroslav Kulich. FK Košíře Praha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Andriessen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Roger Popken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Roger Popken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seagulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jan-Joost Smeekes came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FK Košíře Praha's Martin Kula. But to his dismay, Martin Kula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jaroslav Kulich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Popken, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogier Veninga to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslav Kulich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilco Owusu Abeyie in the 43rd minute. Jaroslav Kulich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilco Owusu Abeyie in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, FK Košíře Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Wilco Owusu Abeyie came free, but Jaroslav Kulich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxmilian Groh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seagulls reached it. In the 64th minute Jiří Vetešník shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost Smeekes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes FK Košíře Praha got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Trávníček. In the 74th minute Roger Popken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Kulich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute Kurt Schröer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Kulich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute Jiří Vetešník shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost Smeekes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Košíře Praha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pravoslav Pašek in the 78th minute. Pravoslav Pašek made a great header on FK Košíře Praha's corner, it was just that Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes managed to reach the ball for a save. After 80 minutes, Wilco Owusu Abeyie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seagulls and the FK Košíře Praha players grew even worse after the yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Kula. When the final whistle sounded FK Košíře Praha left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seagulls.
