After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's Gerald Achen got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Frederic Feys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gates Boeck made a huge save. Henrik Severens's late challenge caught a B O B I S A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Severens helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Frederic Feys came free, but Gates Boeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederic Feys might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gates Boeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederic Feys ran back to his position shaking his head. Gates Boeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Feys, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Frederic Feys nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gates Boeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gates Boeck had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Frederic Feys from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Frederic Feys came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederic Feys couldn't finish the play. Gertjan Imberechts came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by B O B I S A's Derek Leuenberger. But to his dismay, Derek Leuenberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Frederic Feys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gates Boeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Florian Dejonghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Dejonghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrik Severens was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Henrik Severens hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Jack Sennrich shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gertjan Imberechts showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaud Huerliman in the 41st minute of play. Gertjan Imberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Leuenberger in the 44th minute of play. Vriendenkring Wippelgem were furious when Rocky Villyn was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rocky Villyn hit a great ball. B O B I S A's Edgar Domini got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Dejonghe was the one to do the kick off. Gerald Achen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Gertjan Imberechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaud Huerliman in the 63rd minute of the match. Florian Dejonghe did an outstanding performance 69 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Gates Boeck in the goal. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's attentive Erwin-Alexander Ceroux managed to snatch the ball when Gerald Achen made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. After some careless play in the B O B I S A defense, Florian Dejonghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gates Boeck. The B O B I S A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gates Boeck should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derek Leuenberger got free with Gertjan Imberechts in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of B O B I S A booed when Vriendenkring Wippelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderik Van Leemputt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goalkeeper Gertjan Imberechts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frankl Amireau. With a little luck, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts got control of the ball when Frankl Amireau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thibau Vervaeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gates Boeck having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nino Forcucci during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nino Forcucci kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
