Henrik Severens charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Severens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Henrik Severens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Imre Tandori got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Feys in the 11th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Ede Szalontai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Veres in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Henrik Severens got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thibau Vervaeck hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Vriendenkring Wippelgem from getting a goal against them. Henrik Severens was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 22nd minute, Henrik Severens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Andre Uijterhoven got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Ottó Veres sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Gertjan Imberechts showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Roderik Van Leemputt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Zombies the free kick. Roderik Van Leemputt hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vriendenkring Wippelgem booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Tandori didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederic Feys to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Teun Hunaerts seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teun Hunaerts the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vriendenkring Wippelgem protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teun Hunaerts had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vriendenkring Wippelgem! Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabás Kutas in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Imre Tandori. After 64 minutes of play, Green Zombies's Ödön Tóth made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gertjan Imberechts was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Barnabás Kutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Villyn to maneuver through the defense. 3-1 came in the 76th minute when Florian Dejonghe all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ede Szalontai. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ödön Tóth hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Veres in the 83rd minute of play forced Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goalkeeper Gertjan Imberechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. András Markovits hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Thibau Vervaeck fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vriendenkring Wippelgem's protests and gave Thibau Vervaeck a yellow card for diving instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Green Zombies fully deserved thier win.
