After 37 minutes of play, ЦСКА's Kuzman Nedelkov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ede Szalontai was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Nedyalko Bibin put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Green Zombies booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedyalko Bibin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuzman Nedelkov to make the kick off. The referee ignored Green Zombies's protests and gave Péter Bodnár a yellow card for diving instead. Tzvetomir Haladzhov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Green Zombies left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ЦСКА.
