When Péter Bodnár fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Zombies's protests and gave Péter Bodnár a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Péter Bodnár hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, Вежен's Anko Katincharov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ede Szalontai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Вежен reached it. When Вежен's Zahari Bratoev in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Zombies's goalie prevented a goal. Zahari Bratoev scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ede Szalontai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tervel Tzandev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. Ottó Veres shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zsombor Zombori hit a great ball. Ede Szalontai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahari Bratoev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Вежен fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Вежен's Milan Harabaliev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Вежен's Yordan Prashtilski got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ottó Veres might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mito Smilevski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ottó Veres ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ottó Veres in the 29th minute of play forced Вежен's goalkeeper Mito Smilevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zahari Bratoev in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ede Szalontai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zahari Bratoev during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zahari Bratoev hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Sava Vatrachki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Zombies's Ede Szalontai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zahari Bratoev in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zahari Bratoev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ödön Tóth hit a great ball. After 55 minutes of play, Green Zombies's Kálmán Veres made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mito Smilevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ödön Tóth kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Milan Harabaliev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Вежен's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Zombies the free kick. In the 67th minute of the match Ottó Veres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mito Smilevski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Gercho Mantarkov came free, but Ede Szalontai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zsombor Zombori hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Gergely Hoffman. With his leg Ede Szalontai managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Вежен's Zahari Bratoev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Péter Bodnár was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Вежен booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Bodnár didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zahari Bratoev in the 96th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Ede Szalontai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Вежен players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
