Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Luka Saje made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the game, Trayko Slavinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MANCHESTER UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Koper the free kick. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MANCHESTER UNITED! Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boycho Zhilev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bine Šercelj came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by MANCHESTER UNITED's Simeon Uliverov. But to his dismay, Simeon Uliverov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When MANCHESTER UNITED's Simeon Uliverov in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Koper's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Simeon Uliverov put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bine Šercelj. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boycho Zhilev, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boycho Zhilev in the 31st minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Bine Šercelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Luka Saje. Boycho Zhilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MANCHESTER UNITED's Milko Zhadalov got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Timi Osojnik came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Koper fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timi Osojnik couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Milko Zhadalov notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Koper's Bine Šercelj. Bine Šercelj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half MANCHESTER UNITED were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Simeon Uliverov made the kick off in the second half. Boycho Zhilev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bine Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boycho Zhilev in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bine Šercelj saved FC Koper from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Gaj Ožbolt got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute, Tzeno Berovski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Koper's Bine Šercelj didn't even have to move. Simeon Uliverovs short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Bine Šercelj to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Simeon Uliverov in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bine Šercelj, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to MANCHESTER UNITED getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Boycho Zhilev hit a great ball. Bine Šercelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boycho Zhilev in the 68th minute of play. Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Simeon Uliverov sent off a good shot on target. In the 70thth minute of the game Simeon Uliverov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koper's Bine Šercelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MANCHESTER UNITED's Boycho Zhilev got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simeon Uliverov in the 76th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Bine Šercelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Marš kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Luka Saje hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Tzeno Berovski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bine Šercelj. FC Koper's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of FC Koper booed when MANCHESTER UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simeon Uliverov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MANCHESTER UNITED eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
