In a very dangerous position, a player in CSKA Dobravi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! CSKA Dobravi:s Vergil Pashkulev showed great skill when he stopped Marino Gregorič:s penalty. After some careless play in the CSKA Dobravi defense, Timi Osojnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vergil Pashkulev. The CSKA Dobravi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vergil Pashkulev should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSKA Dobravi's goalkeeper Vergil Pashkulev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luka Saje received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vergil Pashkulev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, one of CSKA Dobravi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vergil Pashkulev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luka Saje went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luka Saje in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vergil Pashkulev saved CSKA Dobravi from getting behind. Nenko Kyurchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. After 45 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Gaj Ožbolt. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yulian Duparinov was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mincho Krivoshiev in the 56th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Bine Šercelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Timi Osojnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nenko Kyurchev took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bine Šercelj. Bine Šercelj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nenko Kyurchev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Marino Gregorič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Saje got free with Vergil Pashkulev in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes, Marino Gregorič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Koper and the CSKA Dobravi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute Yulian Duparinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bine Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSKA Dobravi's Vergil Pashkulev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Dobravi from getting a goal against them. Luka Saje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mincho Krivoshiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
