The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Vc Brye:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of de belletrekkers:s goal. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cederique Wigers in the 34th minute of play. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Theunis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Geordy De Leger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rob Knockaert's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Armentier to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edgard Armentier sped through Vc Brye's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geordy De Leger. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Theunis went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Theunis in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Armentier was the one to do the kick off. Vc Brye's Geordy De Leger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Knockaert in the 53rd minute of play. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederique Wigers in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the de belletrekkers defense, Cederique Wigers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche. In the 73rd minute, Jean Theunis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. When Edgard Armentier fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de belletrekkers's protests and gave Edgard Armentier a yellow card for diving instead. Edgard Armentier kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Cederique Wigers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche. de belletrekkers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cederique Wigers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 82nd minute Rob Knockaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geordy De Leger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Geordy De Leger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henri-Patrick Van Den Driessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octaaf Van Adorp in the 84th minute of play. The Vc Brye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. There was no doubt that Vc Brye were the better team. Vc Brye's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
