Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivo De Backer kicked off to start the match. Marcell Somogyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jordi Peten made a huge save. The supporters of Ágyúsok FC booed when Genk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Alexandre Dewolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Gergely Papp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Genk's Robby de Koninck got a free kick in the 8th minute. Marcell Somogyi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jordi Peten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Papp in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Gergely Papp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordi Peten. Genk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gergely Papp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 20 minutes, Gery Polspoel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genk and the Ágyúsok FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jordi Peten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Papp in the 24th minute of the match. Genk's Jordi Peten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Dobos in the 25th minute of play. The Genk fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Genk's Ivo De Backer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jordi Peten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Bökönyi in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ivo De Backer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ágyúsok FC's Bánk Döbrögi. Bánk Döbrögi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo De Backer came free, but Bánk Döbrögi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Genk's goalkeeper Jordi Peten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcell Somogyi. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 74th minute, József Dobos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordi Peten was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The Ágyúsok FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Ágyúsok FC's Marcell Somogyi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Bánk Döbrögi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Tijs in the 82nd minute. In the 89th match minute, Genk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joris Tijs to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ágyúsok FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Genk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
