Kaloyan Kolev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tim Driesen. FC Unterrudling's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stayko Viryanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Selmser in the 28th minute of play. Naycho Mitarov charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naycho Mitarov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's goalkeeper Tim Driesen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Sladkarov. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Trame to make the kick off.
