After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Leonid Pilař managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK TEPLICE STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Pilař was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo De Backers short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Miroslav Pochylý to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jordi Peten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeněk Koutský in the 77th minute of the match. Didier Cuejvers charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didier Cuejvers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Didier Cuejvers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordi Peten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
