An unexpectedly hard shot by Denimir Stanchev in the 16th minute of play forced ASC South United's goalkeeper Stijn Otten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Kristian Holst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Gospodinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stoycho Biradzhiev kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of ASC South United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Zhelezna:s goal. FC Zhelezna's attentive Dimcho Reklyovski managed to snatch the ball when Jan Hendrik Gronden made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kristian Holst hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Zhelezna's Vute Vukov got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mincho Shumanliev during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Mincho Shumanliev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Holst struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dobromir Gospodinov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASC South United. Stoycho Biradzhiev charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
