Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tinko Gerchev started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Marco Kiewiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 11th minute, but Zhelyazko Marazov got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving SEA FALCONS hanging dry this time. With a little luck, SEA FALCONS's Zhelyazko Marazov got control of the ball when Marco Kiewiet tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, SEA FALCONS's goalkeeper Zhelyazko Marazov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Kiewiet. In the 22nd minute, Antim Burlakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zhelyazko Marazov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Kiewiet in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the De Pelgrims defense, Radoslav Chonev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hendrik Adriaanse. The De Pelgrims fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hendrik Adriaanse should have stopped the shot. Zhelyazko Marazov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Kiewiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hendrik Adriaanse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tinko Gerchev in the 34th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Rien Drenth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Pelgrims and the SEA FALCONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rien Drenth kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Steve de Hoop came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve de Hoop couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gergin Sazdov during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gergin Sazdov hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Hendrik Adriaanse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslav Chonev, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Zhelyazko Marazov came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by De Pelgrims's Marco Kiewiet. But to his dismay, Marco Kiewiet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Kiewiet was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Marco Kiewiet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Zhelyazko Marazov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zhelyazko Marazov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Boersma, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gert Boersma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zhelyazko Marazov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zhelyazko Marazov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Boersma in the 68th minute of play. After 82 played minutes, De Pelgrims's Rien Drenth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zhelyazko Marazov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Pelgrims reached it. When Marco Kiewiet came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Kiewiet couldn't finish the play. De Pelgrims's Ferdi van der Schaaf pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 87 minutes of play SEA FALCONS's Gergin Sazdov was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to SEA FALCONS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gergin Sazdov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslav Chonev in the 92nd minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Hendrik Adriaanse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SEA FALCONS booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Kiewiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Kiewiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhelyazko Marazov having to interfere. Zhelyazko Marazov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Boersma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The De Pelgrims players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
