Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120,
Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charles-Antoine Segers started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Sylven Van den Gans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bruges's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Dalwhinnie Boys the free kick. In the 3rd minute, one of FC Bruges:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Bruges. FC Bruges:s Douglas Schoenmaekers showed great skill when he stopped Dimitrie Kuypers:s penalty. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Henry Kleinman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Douglas Schoenmaekers to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th minute, Theo Smeekes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Douglas Schoenmaekers. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 18th minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys's Henry Kleinman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Douglas Schoenmaekers. Douglas Schoenmaekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Charles-Antoine Segers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Berry Baalen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Matthy Smets fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bruges's protests and gave Matthy Smets a yellow card for diving instead. Douglas Schoenmaekers came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by The Dalwhinnie Boys's Henry Kleinman. But to his dismay, Henry Kleinman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Herman Bormans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Berry Baalen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Henderickx in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Izaak Pierewaaijer to strike the kick off in the second half. Douglas Schoenmaekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Smeekes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, Charles-Antoine Segers lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Berry Baalen. In the 56th minute, Sylven Van den Gans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izaak Pierewaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Schoenmaekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Kleinman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Henry Kleinman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Kleinman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 77 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Bormans came free, but Berry Baalen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Hans Wegman. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Herman Bormans managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bruges's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Bormans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berry Baalen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony Henderickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berry Baalen having to interfere. If Charles-Antoine Segers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berry Baalen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles-Antoine Segers, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Charles-Antoine Segers kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Dalwhinnie Boys had won after a very even match.
