Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vincent Van der Vorst took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vincent Van der Vorst took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ive De Meyer. Ive De Meyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thys Van De Gehuchte hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Joel Van Beersel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ive De Meyer came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Van Beersel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Izak Schoolmeesters got a free kick in the 29th minute. FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Gullegem from getting a goal against them. FC Klavertje Vier's Vincent Van der Vorst got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Vincent Van der Vorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ive De Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gertjan Waterloos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ive De Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Van der Vorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre Hacke was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan Waterloos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerrit Van Boeckost in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ive De Meyer saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Van der Vorst in the 61st minute of play. Ive De Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Van der Vorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Schautens was a little too slow when Pierre Hacke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 3-2. Pierre Hacke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Schautens having to interfere. Pierre Hacke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Joel Van Beersel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ive De Meyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kim Verhengen during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Verhengen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Van Beersel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute of the match Jeff Spoelbergs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ive De Meyer skillfully saved the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Reinard Mangelschot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Klavertje Vier the free kick. After 87 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Reinard Mangelschot. Ive De Meyer came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Vincent Van der Vorst. But to his dismay, Vincent Van der Vorst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Ive De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Van Boeckost in the 93rd minute of the match.
