After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Steffe De Jonge got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th match minute, FC Vershina ESPN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Lysytsjkyi to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, FC Vershina ESPN's Ivan Lysytsjkyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Biermans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lysytsjkyi came free, but Nico Biermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Rits was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ouagadougou National's players had a chance to rest. Jeffrey Rits's late challenge caught a FC Vershina ESPN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Rits helped the player get up and apologised. Jeffrey Rits kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Vershina ESPN getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ivan Lysytsjkyi hit a great ball. Bernt Van Eeckhouts short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Artem Gordya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 44 minutes of play, FC Vershina ESPN's Danylo Biloshapka made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nico Biermans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Lysytsjkyi in the 58th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Nico Biermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Ivan Lysytsjkyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Biermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Adolf Smedts got a free kick in the 64th minute. Artem Gordya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremie Sterkx in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Van Eeckhout in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artem Gordya saved FC Vershina ESPN from getting behind. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when FC Vershina ESPN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volodymyr Beletskyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Ivan Lysytsjkyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Vershina ESPN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Danylo Biloshapka hit a great ball. Ivan Lysytsjkyi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match was over FC Vershina ESPN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Ouagadougou National throughout the match.
