After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Minko Gurbalov got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cup2's Simo Tuliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rangel Goranov in the 25th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Simo Tuliyski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zhan Bizhev charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zhan Bizhev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Zhan Bizhev got a free kick in the 39th minute. Manchester United F.C.'s Gancho Nenchov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Simo Tuliyski but with some difficulty. When Dobrin Zhirov fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cup2's protests and gave Dobrin Zhirov a yellow card for diving instead. Dobrin Zhirov kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s Gancho Nenchov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 54th minute Vangel Dorovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzanyo Zvúncharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tzanyo Zvúncharov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafail Kamberov in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Antoan Tzalov got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Minko Gurbalov's late challenge caught a Cup2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
