Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Szilárd Csikós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szigeti having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elemér Pálffy in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gusztáv Jászberényi saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. Gusztáv Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elemér Pálffy in the 8th minute of play. János Major lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 10th minute, Kristóf Nagy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elemér Pálffy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by Imre Markos. With a little luck, Várdomb's Ottó Szigeti got control of the ball when Szilárd Csikós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ottó Szigeti made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Zsolt Vörös sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goalkeeper Ottó Szigeti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szilárd Csikós. After 38 minutes, Zsolt Vörös mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the Várdomb players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Vörös to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Szilárd Csikós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Szigeti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szilárd Csikós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szigeti having to interfere. Szilárd Csikós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ottó Szigeti having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Botond Bodor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián György. In the 53rd match minute, Várdomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ábel Lencse to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Botond Bodor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gusztáv Jászberényi, 0-1. Szilárd Csikós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szigeti having to interfere. Krisztián György fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szigeti having to interfere. Várdomb's Botond Bodor got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Szilárd Csikós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathely Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Váradi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Szilárd Csikós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szigeti having to interfere. Szombathely Squirrels's Szilárd Csikós got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
