The audience thought a goal was coming when Rumen Rubiev got free with Nic Cox in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobrin Zhirov in the 65th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Nic Cox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haithabu FC's Nic Cox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rumen Rubiev in the 68th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafail Kamberov took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nic Cox. Nic Cox dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Haithabu FC's Nic Cox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Haithabu FC from getting a goal against them. Nic Cox was a little too slow when Rumen Rubiev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-3. Cup2's Vladimir Shushkov was substituted for Rafail Kamberov. A hard shot 96 in the game by Rumen Rubiev from a close distance when the talented Nic Cox managed to make a qualified save. Haithabu FC's players were relieved.
