Bernard Mülder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Hanigovský's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. FC XY's Peter Adamek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefano Zijden in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Stefano Zijden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Adamek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Juraj Michálek charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juraj Michálek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juraj Michálek kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Peter Adamek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Wilson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Stefano Zijden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Kasteelheren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute Stefano Zijden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Adamek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mathieu Onrust hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Jaromír Grecula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC XY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaromír Grecula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Hanigovský's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernard Mülder firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd minute, FC XY's Viktor Hanigovský dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, FC XY's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan Wilson came free, but Peter Adamek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC XY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Kasteelheren were winning 1-2.
