The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolay Seliverstov got free with Frederick Wertscher in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FK Amur's Nil Dergachev got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikolay Seliverstov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederick Wertscher having to make a save. Nikolay Seliverstov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Wertscher having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ämmer Sportfreaks's zone, Nikolay Seliverstov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederick Wertscher came out of the goal and Nikolay Seliverstov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FK Amur booed when Ämmer Sportfreaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tin Trudeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Ryabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nil Dergachev in the 47th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Frederick Wertscher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Stepan Babitskiy's late challenge caught a Ämmer Sportfreaks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stepan Babitskiy helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Aleksey Antonov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Amur's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksey Antonov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, FK Amur's Dmitriy Sidorov got control of the ball when Gianluca Stempfel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Ivan Lagoda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Amur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ämmer Sportfreaks the free kick. In the 95th match minute, FK Amur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Lagoda to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Tin Trudeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Sidorov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Amur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
