Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) 2 minutes into the game, Vangel Dinev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Plovdiv the free kick. Lokomotiv Plovdiv were furious when Miroslav Gúnev was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 4th minute, one of Lokomotiv Plovdiv:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for FC CSKA. Rafail Bumbovski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evlogi Lukanov. 0-1. After 9 played minutes FC CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Vangel Dinev. Ivan Ganchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Atanas Dlúgnekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bocho Nikolchev struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Atanas Dlúgnekov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Evlogi Lukanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Velko Goleminov went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Apostol Gilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atanas Dlúgnekov having to interfere. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ivan Ganchev sped through FC CSKA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atanas Dlúgnekov. After 36 played minutes Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Ganchev. Evlogi Lukanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamen Sarandev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Velko Goleminov sped through Lokomotiv Plovdiv's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evlogi Lukanov. After the first half FC CSKA were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Plovdiv's zone, Kamen Sarandev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evlogi Lukanov came out of the goal and Kamen Sarandev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evlogi Lukanov was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Rafail Bumbovski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafail Bumbovski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Genko Marekov hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, FC CSKA's Kamen Sarandev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evlogi Lukanov. Evlogi Lukanov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After 72 played minutes FC CSKA got a freekick which was hit by Tzoko Beninski. After 73 played minutes, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Lyudmil Karadashki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atanas Dlúgnekov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lokomotiv Plovdiv reached it. 76 minutes into the match, Rafail Bumbovski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evlogi Lukanov, 1-7. Vangel Dinev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
