Ämmer Sportfreaks's Frederick Wertscher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrison Muntwyler in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenan Vinciguerra to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Freeman Mächler got a free kick in the 17th minute. Espen Steelers's Andre Zurbuchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirin Reinhard in the 21st minute of play. Lienhard Eigensatz charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lienhard Eigensatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Lienhard Eigensatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederick Wertscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freeman Mächler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Freeman Mächler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederick Wertscher was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Kenan Vinciguerra came free, but Frederick Wertscher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philipp Junod received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Frederick Wertscher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Junod came free, but Frederick Wertscher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Zurbuchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Cikaluk in the 45th minute of play. When Alonzo Meili fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ämmer Sportfreaks's protests and gave Alonzo Meili a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philipp Junod stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kenan Vinciguerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluca Stempfel scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Zurbuchen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andre Zurbuchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Stempfel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espen Steelers's Philipp Junod got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Gavin Ciprella replaced Sebastian Zberg. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Ämmer Sportfreaks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tin Trudeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederick Wertscher made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Harrison Muntwyler sent off a good shot on target. Kenan Vinciguerra hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Lukas Cikaluk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andre Zurbuchen skillfully saved the ball. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Tin Trudeau got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Hans Pasquino made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Wertscher. Ämmer Sportfreaks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Dieter Giorgi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Frederick Wertscher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting a goal against them. Espen Steelers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
