After having played for 12 minutes, Yavor Pútnikov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavor Pútnikov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lyudmil Karadashki kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Koloman Kohút hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Krajíček, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miroslav Gúnev kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Apostol Gilev made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lex Academy's Tomáš Krajíček tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Lex Academy got a freekick which was hit by Milan Křepelka. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Radek Husák scored to the left of an out of position Evlogi Lukanov, making the score, 1-1. Tomáš Krajíček showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostol Gilev in the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radek Husák made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radek Husák in the 52nd minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Evlogi Lukanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavor Pútnikov during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lokomotiv Plovdiv getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Yavor Pútnikov hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Lex Academy's Otokar Hrazdira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evlogi Lukanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lex Academy reached it. Evlogi Lukanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radek Husák, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lyudmil Karadashki charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lyudmil Karadashki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Lyudmil Karadashki. Apostol Gilevs short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Tomáš Krajíček to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Evlogi Lukanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Stříž in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Stanislav Kantor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Milan Křepelka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evlogi Lukanov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milan Křepelka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Miroslav Gúnev hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Otokar Hrazdira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evlogi Lukanov skillfully saved the ball. Lokomotiv Plovdiv were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Lex Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lyudmil Karadashki took the corner. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Evlogi Lukanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stříž in the 88th minute of play. Tomáš Krajíček was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Bocho Nikolchev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bocho Nikolchev really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 96 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ganchev came free, but Tomáš Krajíček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
