Spectators: 178 (Terracing: 134, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Michael Campens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernot Rosentreter went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Daniel Trattnig managed to get in a good position for a shot. FV Wienerwald's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Trattnig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Campens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Purple Talents's Remco Van Der Elst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Riese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Johann Szczepanowski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Carel Tilemans came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Purple Talents fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carel Tilemans couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiel Reijniers during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiel Reijniers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Steffen Uijterhove mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purple Talents and the FV Wienerwald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Till-Julius Spengler got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, FV Wienerwald's Robin Riese got control of the ball when Lieven Omblets tried to sneak it across the goal line. FV Wienerwald's Robin Riese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Audenaert in the 38th minute of play. Robin Riese was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Cederique De Kepper capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cederique De Kepper really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Cederique De Kepper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Smets didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lieven Omblets in the 55th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Robin Riese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Remco Van Der Elst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robin Riese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaud Theuniers in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Birger De Coster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purple Talents's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FV Wienerwald the free kick. Michael Campens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommi Braun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, Gabriel Vanik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FV Wienerwald and the Purple Talents players grew even worse after the yellow card. FV Wienerwald's Robin Riese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lieven Omblets in the 88th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Purple Talents players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
